With more than Rs 500 crore already in the bank at the global box office as Rajinikanth’s Jailer completes 15 days in theaters, the movie is experiencing significant declines in sales. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Jailer made Rs 3 crore on Thursday across all languages in India, bringing its 15-day collection to Rs 298.75 crore (nett).
Jailer will surpass the Rs 300 billion milestone in India today, but it’s uncertain if it will be able to surpass the Rs 600 billion level globally. As of Wednesday, the movie had brought in a total of Rs 566 crore. Jailer is being viewed as an interesting comeback for Rajnikant, whose flicks Darbar and Annaatthe earned mixed reviews.
The dance number “Kaavaalaa” from the movie Jailer, which stars Tamannaah Bhatia, is doing well at the box office while also garnering a lot of attention on social media. On YouTube, the song has received over 150 million views, and Reels is a huge fan of it.
