OMG 2 movie gave competition to Gadar 2 but couldn’t beat Gadar 2.

The second week saw “Strong legs” for Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. After week 2, OMG 2 scored impressively within the Gadar 2 wave. The film made more than 2 crore on Thursday, bringing its overall revenue to more over 126 crore. The study by Taran Adarsh noted that multiplexes in significant cities account for the majority of the film’s business. OMG 2 finished the first week with 85.05 crore. The film came out on August 11 and competed at the box office with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2.
OMG 2 opened to conflicting reactions from critics. Saibal Chatterjee, a film critic for NDTV, gave the movie two stars out of five and stated in his review, “God’s message in OMG is portrayed by a flamboyant Akshay Kumar. It makes sense that the star is in the movie. It increases the project’s prospects for box office success. However, it is never stated clearly and convincingly why Kanti Sharan Mudgal would require supernatural intervention to resolve his and his son’s day-to-day issues in the real world.
